Just because a feeling is just in our head does not mean that we shouldn’t deal with it. Sometimes when we feel neglected or devalued or disrespected by someone. Then we confront that person, and that person says, “It’s all in your head.” Then it’s important that we tangibly address the problem rather than simply beating ourselves up for having something in our head that has no basis in our reality. We need to evaluate whether there are some insecurities inside us which are causing such feelings. And especially through spiritual knowledge and practices, when we address those root problems then the problems in our head will disappear.”
