What differentiates activism from radical activism is that activism may be constructive, but radical activism is almost always destructive. The word radical is becoming increasingly acceptable nowadays, although radicalism and radicalization are still matters of concern. And when radical is coupled with activism, it seems to be a cool thing, but it can be deadly. Generally, activists are people who have a cause and they are actively promoting that cause. Now, this can be a good thing in life if they are trying to bring about a positive change in the world. But radical activists focus not on bringing something good into the world, but destroying what they think is bad. And often amidst the destruction, they tend to want to destroy the entire system instead of the particular flaws in the system. And that’s why radical activism needs to be radically rejected.
