Worrying is expressing a vote of no confidence in God. Generally, when things seem to be going wrong, we start worrying. Why such worrying is a natural human emotion: if we have faith in God, then we need to stop worrying about what will happen in the future and start working on redirecting our thoughts towards God and His benevolence. If we don’t, then we are essentially expressing a vote of no confidence in God. We are basically saying that, “God, I don’t trust your plan. I don’t think that you are good enough to be in charge. And therefore, I have to hyper-activate my brain to figure out something.” Why should we let our faith in God be weakened and let ourselves be weakened by worrying? There is nothing to gain and so much to lose.
