Just because a good thing does not happen now, does not mean that it will never happen. It just means that we need to be patient and persistent. When we try to achieve something challenging, such as purifying our heart of negativities and impurities, we may find those very things resurfacing and resurfacing more forcefully than in the past. Rather than letting such recurrence discourage us, we need to look at these impurities as something which are deep rooted and which require more work. Just because purification is not happening immediately, does not mean that it would happen eventually. If we are patient and persistent, then Krishna’s mercy will definitely transform our heart.
