Just because we have a path to a better life does not mean that we will necessarily walk to a better life; we need not just the vision but also the strength to walk to that better life. Sometimes when a good option opens before us, we may become so enthusiastic that we just start rushing in that direction. Our enthusiasm is good, but it also needs to be balanced by wisdom. Sometimes a good opportunity also brings with it new temptations, and we need to be prepared to not succumb to those temptations. The wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita can help us to have not just the vision but also the strength to move towards a better life.
