What some people consider friendly banter, others consider to be beastly torture. In this world, different people perceive things differently. And sometimes someone who might be a bully might torture someone else, even humiliate that person, and may think of it just as having some fun. They may think of that just as friendly banter, especially if it is emotional or verbal. But somebody else might experience it to be unbearable, intolerable, that might spiral off a violent reaction in them, either towards themselves, where they may even think of ending their own lives, or towards the other person, where they may react destructively wanting to eliminate the other person. That is why we need to understand how our actions are impacting others.
