Things work together for good, even if those things individually don’t feel good. When an expert cook is cooking some delicacy, often they may start with ingredients that individually don’t taste very good. But an expert cook knows how to combine those ingredients in such a way that a delicious item is eventually prepared.
Similarly, in our consciousness, many different experiences may enter, and many of those may not be pleasant because of the problems we face in life. But if Krishna is present in our consciousness as the Supreme Cook, he can combine all those experiences, and those things together will take us towards a richer and better life.
