God is watching us, not just to see through us, but also to see us through. Whenever we are told that God is always watching us, that He is all-pervading, He is inside us and He knows everything that we are doing, that may unnerve us. Why? Because we often try to put on a facade. We try to act better than what we are.
But God can see beyond that facade to the darkness within us. Fortunately, God can see more than the darkness within us. God sees our spiritual potential. And God looks at us not to see through us but to see us through. To help us combat and overcome the darkness within us and to come closer to Him.
