Lessons that disturbed our peace of mind may well take us toward peace of the heart. Sometimes, we may value peace to such an extent that it may actually be depriving us of something bigger. We have our mind and beneath that we have our heart. Sometimes we need to lose our peace of mind, especially when we are pursuing something that is deeply important for us. And in that pursuit, we get peace of the heart because we get a deep fulfillment that matters much more than peace. For example, when a parent has a child, they lose peace of mind because of the child, but they get peace of the heart. The same applies whenever we do anything meaningful. So rather than dismissing things because they cost us our peace of mind, we need to evaluate things based on whether they provide peace for our heart.
