Our mind is like a machine, and different machines are wired differently; some people may be more prone to anxiety than others. While we try to rise above our anxieties, we need to accept the level of anxiety our mind is currently prone to. Otherwise, we may resolve not to worry, not to be afraid or not to give in to anxiety, but when we do give in, the same mind then makes us anxious that we became anxious. Learning to accept our anxiety level can help us decrease it.
The mind can not just make us anxious; it can also make us anxious about being anxious.
