How we respond to others disturbing behavior reveals our character much more than whatever we might speak in words. Actions speak louder than words. This axiom is true especially in how we respond when others act in ways that are disturbing to us. If we lose our temper then people start seeing us as short tempered and unreliable. If we just neglect people’s disturbing behavior then people may think that they can just walk over us. However, if we can be calm and firm, then we can earn people’s respect.
