We don’t need to become good to come to God. We need to come to God to become good. Sometimes we may stay away from God thinking, “I am too conditioned, I am too impure, too selfish. I need to become better. I need to become good enough to come to God.”

However, we have got the logic reversed over here. It is not that we have to become good before we can come to God. In fact, coming to God is the fastest and surest way to become good because God is the source of all strength and all purity. When we come to Him, naturally goodness will manifest within us. Therefore, let us not delay even for one moment going closer to God.
