To get the will to say no to something, focus on the thing that we are saying yes to. Whenever we have to say no to something, we feel as if we are losing something by not doing that activity. And that’s why we feel reluctant to say no. To overcome this reluctance, we need to focus on what we intend to say yes to. When we have a yes for something more important burning within us, then that yes will burn away all our reluctance and weakness in saying no to less important things. Rather than worrying about what we are saying no to, let’s start working on what we want to say yes to and get our reasons ready for that yes. Then, saying no will become much easier.
