Even if we can’t control what we are going through, we can control how we go through it. Sometimes, problems come rushing at us from various directions, and we find ourselves in a dark tunnel that seems beyond our control. At such times, we still have the power to choose how we navigate through it. We can choose to be resentful, allowing our mind to replay the question, “why, why, why,” and rendering ourselves helpless.
Alternatively, we can choose to be resourceful, seeking ways to take steps forward and, ultimately, looking up to God as the ultimate source of strength and wisdom to navigate whatever challenges life throws our way.
