What some people consider as clarity of vision, others consider as lack of vision. The Bhagavad Gita talks about how our vision of the world is filtered through the three modes of material nature. The modes are subtle forces which can cause us to see the same thing differently. And thus a person in the mode of ignorance sees only what is immediately comfortable, whereas a person in the mode of goodness sees what is eventually beneficial. And therefore two such people may come to radically opposite conclusions based on the same event. One may consider that they have clarity of vision, whereas other may think that this person lacks vision completely.
