To deal with fear that arises from uncertainty, we don’t need certainty; we can use curiosity. Whenever fear arises, we may not always be able to gain control and certainty to deal with it, but by increasing our curiosity, we can learn more about ourselves. We can discover which situations particularly trigger fear within us and what past impressions they activate. In this way, we can gain greater self-understanding, which is an invaluable tool. Since we have to work with our body-mind machine lifelong, the better we understand it, the better we can function with it.
