Bhagavad Gita 10.15
svayam evātmanātmānaṁ
vettha tvaṁ puruṣottama
bhūta-bhāvana bhūteśa
deva-deva jagat-pate
O Lord of the universe, your glory,
you alone know, O supreme majesty
Source of beings—Lord of all,
God of gods—on you we call.
My dear Lord, you alone know your plan for me. When I cannot understand my role in your plan, let me still turn to you with humility about my position, curiosity about my situation, and receptivity to your intention.
O supreme benefactor, grant me the humility to accept the smallness of my identity and intelligence before the vastness of your omnipotence and omniscience. When I am strengthened by such humility, I will not view the lack of clarity resentfully but will come to peace with it gracefully.
O supreme guide, grant me the curiosity to observe what is happening around me and within me—not just the events and emotions arising there, but the doors you may be opening for me through them. Help me see how you act through the seemingly mundane events of my life.
And most importantly, O inner seer, grant me receptivity to you. Through prayer and devotional activity, make my heart open to you so that I may sense your presence and stay calm and committed until the next steps in your plan become clearer.
May this triad of humility, curiosity, and receptivity keep me connected with you, O supreme divinity.
