Bhagavad Gita 8.9
kaviṁ purāṇam anuśāsitāram aṇor aṇīyāṁsam anusmared yaḥ
sarvasya dhātāram acintya-rūpam āditya-varṇaṁ tamasaḥ parastāt
The ancient sage, the supreme controller,
Smaller than the smallest, let one remember.
Sustainer of all, of form inconceivable,
With radiant hue, beyond darkness impenetrable.
My dear Lord, You are the reservoir of many attractive attributes that are present in their fullness and perfection in You.
Not only that, in You are manifest simultaneously and harmoniously those attributes that seem mutually irreconcilable to my finite mind – such is Your astonishing supremacy.
You, O Almighty Lord, are the controller and sustainer of all, and yet You don’t need gigantic size to discharge these herculean roles. You are smaller than the smallest, for You are the Lord who manifests within every beating heart – human and nonhuman – and You pervade every atom and indeed the space between every atom.
Indeed, such is Your transcendental glory that You do not need great stature to have great power. Bless me, O merciful Lord, to have the faith that even when I cannot see You – neither in terms of Your presence nor Your actions – You still remain present and potent to do what seems utterly impossible to me. Empower me with the openness of heart and head so that I can recognize, realize and relish how You are acting around me and within me and through me.

08.09 One should meditate upon the Supreme Person as the one who knows everything, as He who is the oldest, who is the controller, who is smaller than the smallest, who is the maintainer of everything, who is beyond all material conception, who is inconceivable, and who is always a person. He is luminous like the sun, and He is transcendental, beyond this material nature.
