Resist the temptation to quit on ourselves by recalling the Lord who never quits on us. When striving for self-improvement and facing repeated lapses and relapses, discouragement may set in, leading us to contemplate giving up. During such moments when hope is needed, we can remember the Lord present in our hearts, who has always been there for us.
Krishna is with us because He has not lost hope in us. He has not quit on us, and He never will because, beneath all our impurities, each of us is a pure spiritual soul. He sees that potential and endeavors to assist us. By focusing on Him, we can discover hope even in the midst of hopelessness.
