Beyond this nature, know there’s one more—

My higher energy that you must explore.

It’s the spiritual force, O mighty-armed,

That is by this moving world charmed.

My dear Lord, let your words become an inner flashlight that enable me to realize that I am an eternal and integral part of your higher spiritual energy. My connection with you, O Lord, is a perennial fact. I just need to act in harmony with this fact.

O eternally attractive Lord, I am so disastrously deluded as to have, since time immemorial, turned away from you toward this scarily seductive world. Its attractiveness is just a temporary façade, beyond which lies the brutal reality I have repeatedly experienced: deception, degradation, destruction.

Bless me, O almighty Lord, to remember those harsh experiences so that I can turn away from this world toward you. Even when I am not able to turn away from the world immediately, consistently, or wholeheartedly, please accept me still when I turn toward you as much as I can.

Reclaim me, O merciful Lord, by granting me two revelations. Through the revelation of the wisdom in your words, empower me with the realization that I am yours. And through the revelation of your unparalleled beauty, enrich me with the desire to be yours.
