Bhagavad Gita 11.3
evam etad yathāttha tvam
ātmānaṁ parameśvara
draṣṭum icchāmi te rūpam
aiśvaraṁ puruṣottama
Just as you have spoken it so,
O Supreme, I long to know;
Let me see your form opulent,
In all its glory, endless and effulgent.
My dear Lord, Arjuna’s words reveal how he both accepts the truth of your message and aspires to see that truth displayed before his eyes. He accepts that nothing can exist without you and that everything exists within you. And he desires to see that truth personally demonstrated before his own eyes.
O all-attractive Lord, bless me so that all parts of my being—internally and externally—may be attracted to you. Internally, may my head be centerd on you through conviction and my heart through purification. And externally, may my eyes be centered on you through revelation.
O infallible one, grant me the conviction of the head so I may hold on to you as the topmost reality among all that is real. Grant me also the purification of the heart so I may hold you as the topmost object of love among all that is lovable. While both these can and will come through my steady practice of bhakti, I need your special intervention for the outer revelation by which I can behold you as the topmost object of beauty and glory. Only by that revelation will I be able to actually see—not just intellectually acknowledge—that all attractive things manifest only a spark of your splendor; and that all attractiveness exists within you to a far greater degree than in the outer world.
O merciful Lord, when I thus both behold you externally and hold you internally, then I will stay straight and strong on the path to you—undeviating, undoubting, untiring.

11.03 O greatest of all personalities, O supreme form, though I see You here before me in Your actual position, as You have described Yourself, I wish to see how You have entered into this cosmic manifestation. I want to see that form of Yours.
