Bhagavad Gita 4.6

ajo ’pi sann avyayātmā

bhūtānām īśvaro ’pi san

prakṛtiṁ svām adhiṣṭhāya

sambhavāmy ātma-māyayā

 

“Though unborn and changeless I ever remain,

The Lord of all beings, supreme I reign.

I manifest through my divine will,

In my own nature, fulfilling my thrill.”

 

My dear Lord, your presence in this world is by far the greatest miracle—a miracle of both logic and logistics.How can the infinite Lord fit into this finite world? How can the limited material world ever serve as a residence for the unlimited you? Yet, my dear Lord, you do not become limited ever. You are so unlimited that even limitation cannot stop you from appearing in this world while still remaining unlimited. The limitations of the world do not limit you.

When you appear in your spiritual form, how you interact with other beings who have material forms and senses is a miracle of divine logistics.Bless me, my Lord, with the faith to recognize that you are present in this world, performing miracles beyond my finite comprehension—not only when you descend but at all times, as the indwelling divinity in my heart and in every heart.

Bless me, my Lord, so that I am not overwhelmed by things that seem impossible to me but remain effortlessly possible for you. Let me focus not on what needs to be done and wonder how you can do it, but instead, focus on who you are and remember that nothing is beyond your capacity to do.

04.06 Although I am unborn and My transcendental body never deteriorates, and although I am the Lord of all living entities, by My internal energy I still appear in every millennium in My original transcendental form.
