Bhagavad Gita 3.30

“Offer all your deeds to me,
With mind absorbed in spiritual identity.
Stay free from desire and ego
Fight, letting lethargy go.”
My dear Lord, love for you is not a sentimental notion. It needs to be expressed through concrete actions dedicated to you. Please, O Lord, bless me so that I have at least the first expression of love, which is the absence of lethargy. Love is never lazy, and where there is laziness, there can be no love. Once I am determined to act wholeheartedly, thereby transcending the mode of ignorance, then my love is expressed through non-possessiveness. Let me seek the best through my endeavors, not to increase my own prestige and ego, but for your service and pleasure.
As long as my desires are caught in this world, I can have very little emotional availability to connect with you, let alone dedicate myself to you. Bless me, my Lord, so that I can transcend the mode of passion through non-possessiveness. Love for you, my Lord, who are the Supreme Reality, needs to be grounded in my own awareness of the reality of my identity. I am a spiritual being, an eternal part of you. Loving you is as much a voluntary choice as it is an alignment with my intrinsic spiritual nature. Finally, love is an offering of my entire being to you—the dedication of all my activities for your pleasure. Bless me, O Lord, to thus offer my entire being to you in love.

03.30 Therefore, O Arjuna, surrendering all your works unto Me, with full knowledge of Me, without desires for profit, with no claims to proprietorship, and free from lethargy, fight.
