We all have the experience that we get distracted and waste a lot of time due to the resulting underperformance. To become more focused, we can talk about three steps which could be summarized in the acronym AIR. A is attention. What am I giving my attention to? We try to become aware of that by asking ourselves that question. Then I is intention. What do I want to give my attention to? And R is redirection. How can I shift my attention from where it presently is to where it should be? By these three steps done patiently and persistently, we all can increase our focus.
