In our social circles, there will always be people who act as doomsday prophets. They constantly report what went wrong, what might happen, and somehow get perverse pleasure from attracting attention by discussing potential disasters. While we can respect everyone as parts of God, we need to carefully evaluate how others’ associations affect us. If we find that someone’s association negatively impacts us, even unintentionally, we need to keep them away to keep fear away.

To keep fear away from us, keep away from the people who play with our fears.
