Prapan Parijatayah

Prapan Parijatayah, Parijata flowers give eternal fragrance so for the surrendered souls Krishna is the tree which gives shelter forever,

Prapan Parijatayah, eka Panye from one of His hand He takes stick for controlling the animals, that means that Lord who acts as a cow heard, but now the same Lord who is shelter of the surrendered souls who is the cow heard He is now Jayan Mudraya Krishnaya, He has now taken Jayan Mudra, when He is speaking Gita Amrit Duhe Namah, He is sharing the nectar of Gita with the world.

10th chapter focuses on glory of Bhagavan so that one can enhance his Bhakti.

When there is a combination of Ashvarya (greatness) and Madhuya (sweetness) the affection goes to a very high level.

Bg 10.1

śrī-bhagavān uvāca
bhūya eva mahā-bāho
śṛṇu me paramaṁ vacaḥ
yat te ’haṁ prīyamāṇāya
vakṣyāmi hita-kāmyayā

Word for word:

śrībhagavān uvāca — the Supreme Personality of Godhead said; bhūyaḥ — again; eva — certainly; mahābāho — O mighty-armed; śṛṇu — just hear; me — My; paramam — supreme; vacaḥ — instruction; yat — that which; te — to you; aham — I; prīyamāṇāya — thinking you dear to Me; vakṣyāmi — say; hitakāmyayā — for your benefit.

Translation:

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Listen again, O mighty-armed Arjuna. Because you are My dear friend, for your benefit I shall speak to you further, giving knowledge that is better than what I have already explained.

bhūya eva, again certainly

mahā-bāho, O very powerful one,

śṛṇu me, hear

paramaṁ vacaḥ, supreme words,

yat te ’haṁ prīyamāṇāya, because you are dear to Me

Therefore vakṣyāmi, I speak hita-kāmyayā, desiring your benefit.

Krishna has started the chapter on very personal note, you devote yourself to Me and I guarantee that you will come back to Me there is no doubt

Now Krishna is speaking I will speak this more to you.

Krishna is speaking a knowledge which is very dear to Him and He is speaking to people here devotees who are also very dear to Him.

paramaṁ vacaḥ, they are the Supreme words which is knowledge of Bhakti, knowledge of Bhagvan which leads to Bhakti.

Like on previous chapter He said Raj Vidya Raj Guhyam…Pramam vachas Uttamam, so Uttama superior knowledge, king of knowledge here Supreme words.

Srila Prabhupada’s Purport: Discourses in the society of devotees can take place only among those who are really anxious to be in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.

We reserve our anxiety for material things but we are not anxious about KC things

Even KC can be at different level: fear, desire, duty and love

At our level Rupa Goswami has said Yena Kena Prakarena Manah Krishna Niveshayat, somehow or other remember Krishna.

End of transcription.
