Four ways people look at problems:

When we are in the mode of ignorance, whenever we are faced with problems, we go into self-pity and feel sorry for ourselves because we have so little power to deal with problems.

When we are in the mode of passion, we think that power is the solution and we need to get more and more power by which we will be able to overpower the problem.

In the mode of goodness, we see problems as opportunities for growth, for understanding what life is really meant for, what really matters for us and how we can focus on those things.

And beyond goodness, in pure goodness, we see problems simply as the call of Krishna to turn towards Him and to return to Him.
