Transcript of Bhakti-Shastri class on this verse by Chaitanya Charan

After Cosmological let us look at the Terrestrial arrangement.

Bg 15.13

gām āviśya ca bhūtāni
dhārayāmy aham ojasā
puṣṇāmi cauṣadhīḥ sarvāḥ
somo bhūtvā rasātmakaḥ

Synonyms: 

gām — the planets; āviśya — entering; ca — also; bhūtāni — the living entities; dhārayāmi — sustain; aham — I; ojasā — by My energy; puṣṇāmi — am nourishing; ca — and; auṣadhīḥ — vegetables; sarvāḥ — all; somaḥ — the moon; bhūtvā — becoming; rasa–ātmakaḥ — supplying the juice.

Translation: 

I enter into each planet, and by My energy they stay in orbit. I become the moon and thereby supply the juice of life to all vegetables.

gām āviśya, gam is the planets, āviśya entering into them, ca bhūtāni, living entities also  

dhārayāmy aham ojasā, dhārayāmy is to maintain, aham ojasā, by my energy

So Krishna is saying I am sustaining all planets with all living entities by My Energy. How? Āviśya, by entering into them. 

puṣṇāmi cauṣadhīḥ sarvāḥ, puṣṇāmi, I am nourishing, auṣadhīḥ, vegetables (commonly refers to as medicine) and plants and herbs they are also medicines and medicinal components, so I nourish all plants and vegetables, how? somo bhūtvā rasātmakaḥ, as the moon I provide the rasātmakaḥ, as juice nourishes the vegetables.

All the rules of nature including Gravity is also acting by the will of Krishna. So it is Krishna who has made arrangement of force of gravity.

What scientist calls explanation are mere descriptions, which means something is there and they just describes it. How it is. Explanation means we give causes, just naming a preexisting phenomena is it explaining the pre existing phenomena. E.g. What is gravity? Which keeps planets in the orbit. But actually what keeps planets in orbit? Gravity !!! Newton said I am not explaining how this happens this is something which is not proved, he said I am just giving mathematical equation for an observed phenomena. We see planets moving in an orbit, I am just giving mathematical formula which explains that motion. 

E.g. a person who has always lived in darkness if he sees light he will naturally ask how darkness produces light but darkness can never produce light, absence of light produces darkness. Similarly to explain everything on the basis of matter is not possible consciousness produces matter, that is what Krishna is pointing towards this verse, Krishna says actually I who sustains the planets. dhārayāmy aham ojasā. 

Purport: His energy is sustaining each planet, just like a handful of dust. If someone holds a handful of dust, there is no possibility of the dust’s falling, but if one throws it in the air it will fall down. Similarly, these planets, which are floating in the air, are actually held in the fist of the universal form of the Supreme Lord. By His strength and energy, all moving and nonmoving things stay in their place. It is said in the Vedic hymns that because of the Supreme Personality of Godhead the sun is shining and the planets are steadily moving. Were it not for Him, all the planets would scatter, like dust in air, and perish. E.g. by the presence of soul the body grows and moves.

puṣṇāmi cauṣadhīḥ sarvāḥ
somo bhūtvā rasātmakaḥ

I provide nourishment…

Juice come through my arrangement and it happens through the moon.

This is some mechanism which we  don’t know about science theory keeps changing and almost no theory has pass the test of time.

Some research said that if it is cloudy at night the crop growth is less and if moon is shining then it is more.

This kind of imperial research may also come to right conclusion or may go to the wrong conclusions. So we donot focus on imperical research we focus on sabda.
