How this seeing with understanding happens that is described next:

Bg 11.54

bhaktyā tv ananyayā śakya
aham evaṁ-vidho ’rjuna
jñātuṁ draṣṭuṁ ca tattvena
praveṣṭuṁ ca paran-tapa

Synonyms: 

bhaktyā — by devotional service; tu — but; ananyayā — without being mixed with fruitive activities or speculative knowledge; śakyaḥ — possible; aham — I; evam–vidhaḥ — like this; arjuna — O Arjuna; jñātum — to know; draṣṭum — to see; ca — and; tattvena — in fact; praveṣṭum — to enter into; ca — also; param–tapa — O subduer of the enemy.

Translation: 

My dear Arjuna, only by undivided devotional service can I be understood as I am, standing before you, and can thus be seen directly. Only in this way can you enter into the mysteries of My understanding.

ananyayā , Anaya means different or others ananyayā means there is no body else, means undistracted, not mixed by any other things. 

praveṣṭum , you will enter into truth of my understanding, 

jñātuṁ draṣṭuṁ ca tattvena. Krishna is not saying there is any truth higher than Me, He is saying in understanding Me. 

God is known by a particular process and we cannot use any other process to know Him. 

Karma is at physical level – Veda, tapasa, charity, Yajna – Where is my heart getting invested over here. 

Jayana is at intellectual level

Yoga is at mental level

Where is my heart getting invested over here. 

ananyayā , my heart is getting involved. That doesn’t mean my body mind and intelligence is not used but one is not distracted by other things. When purely our heart is offered Krishna accepts that and revealed Himself. 

When we are taking a particular path a particular thing is required other things may support e.g. one person travelling and when TTE is asking for ticket he is talking about his achievements in other field like his education and work etc. but still TTE will ask ticket only. 

Other things can be utilized in the path of bhakti e.g. Dana can be utilized but it is not dana but it is bhakti which will pay and dana is a medium. 

From Krishna UF came then Narayana Form and then again Krishna Form.
