Help me, O Lord, to rise beyond the waves of dualities (2.15)

Let me seek the spiritual, not just speak of it (2.16)

Let me have a healthy relationship with my body (2.22)

Let remembering my spirituality free me from anxiety (2.23)

Infuse my spiritual journey, O Lord, with a sense of wonder (2.29)

Let my sense of honor inspire me to do what is honorable (2.34)

Let my guide be your infallible declarations (2.40)

I cannot serve two masters; let my heart belong to you alone (2.44)

Let me not equate frustration with renunciation (3.04)

Protect me from my tendency for self-deception (3.06)

Let my obligations not become my obsessions (3.20)

Make me self-aware and strong to combat the inner enemy (3.40)

Let me see standards as guideposts for my growth (3.41)

Help me reclaim the power of desire and direct it toward you (3.43)

Chapter 4

Bless me to trust your infinite plan beyond my finite vision (4.05)

Bless me to marvel at your miraculous presence in this world (4.06)

Bless me to stand on your side in restoring dharma (4.07)

Please restore divine order inside me and outside me (4.08)

You come not just to restore order, but also to recover souls (4.09)

Free me from the three obstacles to devotion (4.10)

Whatever I am seeking, I am actually seeking you (4.11)

Let your selflessness inspire selflessness within me (4.12)

You provide the social order that facilitates spiritual order (4.13)

Greater than the world’s unfairness is your mercifulness (4.14)

Let me focus on present dharma, not on past karma (4.17)

Let me choose the transcendent, not the convenient (4.18)

Help me remember that you are never far away (4.24)

Make me a truth-seeker, not a blind follower (4.34)

Let wisdom deepen, not weaken, my connection with others (4.35)

More than my wrongs is your capacity to free me from them (4.36)

Let your compassion not become the cause of my confusion (5.04)

Help me, my Lord, to stay engaged without being entangled (5.10)

My senses can’t pollute me as much as you can purify me (5.11)

Peace comes by inner absorption, not by outer domination (5.12)

Help me see my body as my locality, not as my identity (5.13)

You are always my inner deliverer, never my inner destroyer (5.15)

Let all the streams of my consciousness flow toward you (5.17)

Help me see others as they are spiritually (5.18)

Help me be spiritually dedicated, not materially diverted (5.20)

Now is my chance to access spiritual happiness (5.21)

Help me to manage my mind with vigilance and diligence (6.05)

Help me be materially regulated and devotionally connected (6.17)

When will my mind become a mirror that shows the self? (6.20)

Grant me the courage to seek experiences beyond the sensual (6.21)

Let me seek the state beyond insufficiency and insecurity (6.22)

Disconnect me O Lord, from my connection with distress (6.23)

Let me appreciate O Lord, the power of small steps (6.25)

Let me parent my mind resourcefully, not ruleslessly (6.26)

Let every spiritual experience prompt me towards you (6.28)

You are always within me, and I am always within you (6.29)

Let me see you with my body’s eye and my mind’s eye (6.30)

Let my spiritual growth increase my empathy, not my apathy (6.32)

Release me from the mind that is restless, reasonless (6.34)

Help me to override and overwrite my mind’s programming (6.35)

Please protect me from ambush by my lower desires (6.37)

Let your words of assurance drive out my fear of failure (6.40)

Let me not give up due to my lower desires (6.41)

You ensure that even death can’t stop spiritual growth (6.42)

Even when memory is lost, you preserve spiritual attraction (6.43)

You arrange for spiritual awakening in the next lifetime (6.44)

Please make me immune to the illusion that I am immune to illusion (7.13)

Let my ability not steal my humility (7.08)

Power is your gift, not my right (7.10)

Let my desire be guided and guarded by dharma (7.11)

Let your love be my pole star (7.02)

Let my heart seek you and stop at nothing else (7.03)

Let me see the material as divine, not as mundane or profane (7.04)

Help me realize I am yours and help me desire to be yours (7.05)

Beneath the world’s deluding diversity is your uplifting unity (7.06)

You are self-caused, self-contained, and self-sufficient (7.30)

Free me from the illusion that you are not free (7.12)

Let me cast far away the illusion that you are far away (7.07)

Free me from the four anti-devotional mentalities (7.15)

Whatever my driving desire, let it drive me toward you (7.16)

Whatever my desires, may they take me toward you, never away from you. (7.20)

Your form is not limiting for you but is liberating for me (7.24)

At death, let me come home, not leave home (8.05)

May you, as the supreme destination, be my mind's final manifestation (8.06)

You are the transcendent shelter beneath and beyond all practical shelters (8.07)

The impossible becomes possible in You and through You (8.09)

Let me be mad for You, not mad at You (9.09)

Let me focus on your will, not my skill (9.32)

Let me seek the support that draws me to you, not away from you (9.18)

When life makes me weak, O Lord, make me strong (10.39)

Help me to both look away and look through illusion (10.41)

Let me always bathe in curiosity (10.39)
