Translation:
Again there are those who, although not conversant in spiritual knowledge, begin to worship the Supreme Person upon hearing about Him from others. Because of their tendency to hear from authorities, they also transcend the path of birth and death.
anye tv evam ajānantaḥ, others who do not know all this
śrutvānyebhya upāsate, by hearing from other they start worshiping
te ’pi, even they
cātitaranty eva, they will also go beyond
mṛtyuṁ śruti-parāyaṇāḥ, they will go beyond death by śruti-parāyaṇāḥ,by being dedicated to hearing.
Like the word often used is Narayanah parāyaṇāḥ, those who are completely devoted to Narayana.
In 16th chapter of BG it is mentioned Kama Krodha parāyaṇāḥ, those who has given themselves to Kama and Krodha.
Now here Krishna given the word śruti-parāyaṇāḥ, those who love hearing here Sruti talks about hearing and not Sruti shashtra, Krishna has talked about going beyond Sruti, 2.52-53 Krishna said that those who has strongly situated in transcendental path whatever they hear from Sruti literature if it is about Karma Kand it will not disturb them because they understand that it is higher reality, so the word Sruti specifically refers to Sruti scripture which talk about Karma Kanda. But in another word Sruti can refer to the function of hearing and especially it can refer to Sravanam in terms of hearing about Krishna so here the effect of Sruti is to go beyond material existence, so this is definitely not referring to Sruti of Karam Kanada. It is talking about Sruti in terms of Sravanam,
śruti-parāyaṇāḥ, one who attached to hearing, what happens to such a person? So Krishna is saying about these people they do not know all these complications about what is Prakriti what is Purusha and the technicalities of all these ajānantaḥ but śrutva, they hear ānyebhya so the word anaya come twice and it is not the same thing the first anye comes in contrast with earlier kecid, some people practicing Dhyan Yoga, Jyana Yoga, Karama Yoga, but there are others who do this hearing and within this hearing they hear from others, these others refers to the spiritual authorities
śrutvānyebhya upāsate, after hearing they started doing Upasana, which is a central feature of Bhakti. So it is not just hearing but hearing and there is transformation happening worshiping the Supreme Reality.
te ’pi cātitaranty eva, te ’pi, they also,
cātitaranty eva, they will go beyond mritum,
So sometimes in 13th chapter we get overwhelmed by the technicalities and think what is all these I thought KC is very simple just Chant and Go back to Krishna, so even in Jyan section Krishna is reassuring, no, even if one is ajānantaḥ, one hears and one starts worshiping about the Supreme reality about which we heard then by that one can attain Supreme destination, one can go beyond cycle of birth and death.
So in the next section we will discuss about putting this all together the Jyana Chakchu.

Wonderful and practical explanstion; Krishna assures that in listening transformation takes place, the devotee is attracted and he too joins in chanting,
